ANNUAL COUNTRY WALK

A contingent of hardy souls ignored the baking heat and enjoyed the lodge’s annual country walk.

This year we set off from Ribchester for a five mile circular trek taking in some breath-taking Lancashire countryside. Following the River Ribble to begin with, the group then peeled away into farming land and amazing countryside with superb views.

Just to add to the fun, a few obstacles were placed in the way in the shape of broken stiles and walkways.

Returning to Ribchester the group were also able to enjoy the sights and sounds of Ribchester Field Day.

We are so lucky with this green and pleasant land together with wonderful local traditions
