Preston Guild Lodge Supporting Charities

22nd September 2020 Off By guildlodge

Covid 19 has had a major impact on many local small volunteer led charities. Donations have been severely affected over the Lockdown Period in particular, and the Preston Local Lockdown has not helped this. These volunteer led charities are the unsung heroes in our community.

The Freemasons of Preston Guild Lodge want to help those small charities. It is a tradition within Preston Guild Lodge to make charitable donations at the time of their annual Installation Night in November. This year the Lodge would like to support our local volunteer led charities to try to make up for some of their Covid 19 losses.

The Lodge is inviting these charities to make them known to us so that we can make a number of grants across the City at our Installation in November. We would request that applications are submitted by the 9th October 2020 so that the Lodge Fund Trustees can consider them in good time. The Lodge will invite a Representative from each organisation to an informal presentation event in November.

Please send applications to: The Secretary, Preston Guild Lodge, Preston
Masonic Hall, Saul Street, Preston, PR1 2QU or through  the Lodge Secretary  or via Twitter @GuildLodge4408
